Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko resumed the Glo Premier League on winning notes as the two sides plucked victory in cagey encounters away from home.
Hearts pipped Kpando Heart of Lions one-nil at Kpando courtesy a first half lone goal by Mahatma Otoo in a highly contested game just as Asante Kotoko also returned from Sekondi with all three points at stake after beating Medeama FC by a lone goal.
Out of six games played Sunday, four resulted in away wins, with Ebusua Dwarfs and Wassaman United adding to the list.
Liberty Professionals and Wa All Stars played a goalless game on Saturday at Dansoman, while the match between Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea will be played Thursday following Chelsea’s international engagement.
