A video has emerged showing a group of people waving the change sign at President John Mahama whilst he campaigned in parts of the capital, Accra.
The incident is believed to have occurred at Kokompe, a suburb of Accra with large number of artisans and spare part dealers.
The artisans while dancing to Shatta Wale’s ‘chop kiss’ song which was played by one of the vehicles in the presidential convoys, were busily chanting ‘yeresesamu’ to wit - 'we are for change'.
They were also busily rolling over their fingers to demonstrate the change sign, used mostly by supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party.
Some of the artisans decided to continue chanting the change slogan to the face of security men that accompanied the President.
The video began circulating on social media after the President's visit to Kaneshie, Darkuman and Fadama, all in Accra.
Not even the appearance of President Mahama who stood in his V8 to wave at them could dissuade them from calling for change.
