The non-governmental organization, Humu Foundation, has come to the rescue of pupils at Bosuayiri Primary School in the Wa municipality of the Upper West region.

According to Humu Awudu, head of the foundation, she read the story about the un-conducive and inhumane conditions that the pupils were studying under

She was deeply touched and worried about the plight of the pupils lying on the bare floor knowing the health implications

The Humu foundation, Hajia Humu Awudu donated 50 dual desks to the school valued at five thousand Ghana Cedis.

Bosuayiri Primary School, which was established in September 2014, has about 107 pupils, have four classes crammed into one classroom without desks or teacher’s furniture.
