Ghanaian movie producer Socrates Sarfo has denied allegations that he has issues with rapper Tinny and dislikes his music.
Refuting the rapper's claims that he hates him, in an interview on Hitz FM, Mr. Sarfo said he rather criticised him for a song he brought for a review.
Socrates said he was on Peace FM on Saturday as a panelist when Tinny came for a review of his new song ‘Badder Than Them’.
He explained that, the panelists on the show were allowed to ask questions after the host was done interviewing the artiste.
According to him, what triggered Tinny's accusations was when he asked him how many kids he had and with how many women.
Mr. Sarfo said, Tinny's attitude worsened when he criticized his song.
“The song had sounds of the late gospel musician Rev. Kusi Berko's songs and you can't even hear the lyrics and he kept repeating the slang 'Badder Than Them' so I gave my review. Even Mark Okraku Mantey told him there was a problem with the mixing which he agreed to so why did he take offense with what I said about his song?" Socrates added.
Judging Tinny's performance at the VGMA, he said, "I'm even surprised that Tinny, with all his experience as a musician, could even forget his own lyrics while performing on stage".
“Is this a role model? Is this somebody my children should emulate because I'm very particular about what my children follow," Socrates quizzed.
