Patrons were treated to an evening of music, comedy and reflection as Joy 99.7 FM held its annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Labadi Beach Hotel on December 13, 2025.
The event featured sterling performances by Perez Musik, Queendalyn, Ps. Ella Somuah, Grace Chorale and Jeneral Ntatia, who took turns to showcase their diverse creative abilities to the delight of the audience.
Comedian Jeneral Ntatia added a unique twist to the programme, weaving scripture readings with humour and relatable commentary that resonated strongly with patrons.
Hosted by Fifi Folson and comedian Jacinta, the night was filled with joy and laughter, fittingly capturing the spirit of the season as Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ.
The lessons were read by personalities drawn from the corporate world, the arts and politics, adding variety and depth to the programme.
Over the years, the Joy FM Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has grown into a major fixture on the station’s festive calendar, attracting audiences from all walks of life.
