Talented songwriter Akwaboah, born Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, has disclosed that he developed the passion for music at the age of 10.
The musician, who is behind hit songs such as ‘Nsroma’, ‘I Do Love You’, ‘Daa Ke Daa’, said he started writing lyrics of people’s songs at a tender age.
“I should say at the age of 10. I actually didn’t know what I was writing. I was just writing stuff at home with dad. Sometimes I write the songs that are already in the system,” he said.
After writing those songs, Akwaboah added that when he sits down “and think of something to write [music for] myself…but I didn’t know what I was doing by then. I didn’t know I had this power.”
He made the revelation in an interview on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM with Doreen Andoh Tuesday.
