AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reopened his war of words with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, accusing his former trainer of not being "a man" in his final days at Camp Nou.
The Sweden international left Catalunya for the Serie A giants at the start of the 2010-11 season, amid rumours of conflict with his coach despite enjoying a fairly successful first year with the club. In just over one full season with the Blaugrana, the forward netted 22 times in 46 games and lifted the Liga title, the Uefa Super Cup, the Club World Cup and two Supercopas.
Since joining the Rossoneri, Ibrahimovic has wasted few chances to bait his former coach, and he returned to the attack in an interview for the May edition of Four Four Two.
"When I left Barcelona, I said to myself: I’m leaving the best team in the world but there is a person having a problem with me," he explained.
"He’s not a man, not telling me what the problem is. But without knowing what the problem is, I will be the man and I will leave."
"For a couple of months I was walking around trying to get answers but I didn’t get any, so at the end I said: ‘This is bulls**t’, I don’t need this, I will go somewhere I know I will get answers and where I can play my game."
Zlatan has played a total of 77 games for the Italian side, scoring 50 goals and helping them to the 2010-11 Scudetto in his first season at the club.
