Founder and board chairman of Bills Microcredit, Richard Nii Armah Quaye, has shared details of his personal life, announcing that he is now a divorcee and actively searching for a new partner
Speaking in an interview with Bola Ray, Mr Quaye emphasised the human side of his journey, expressing his desire to remain focused on his family and personal growth despite the setback.
According to the business mogul, at age 25, he embarked on what many would consider a life milestone: marriage.
However, the dream of a lifetime union, which he hoped would endure until the end of time, did not materialise as he had envisioned.
Reflecting on his experiences, Mr Quaye revealed that his marriage lasted for 10 years but ultimately ended in divorce.

The businessman, known for his contributions to Ghana’s microfinance sector, described the end of his marriage as a difficult chapter in his life that brought him to a crossroads.
“I got married at age 25, but you know what? ... the reality is that currently I’m a divorcee so I’m back on the market,” Mr Quaye shared candidly.
“I was married for ten years, but it didn’t work out. Life happens,” he added.
Despite the pain of his divorce, Mr Quaye said he remains resolute in his approach to life and family.
"One of my low moments in life was when my marriage didn’t work out, but I did every effort to salvage it," he confessed. "I wanted to keep my family, keep my marriage till the end of time, but it didn’t work out."
The businessman who turns 40 on 21st March 2025 has recently acquired a private jet and a Bugatti Chiron to celebrate his birthday.
