The present awkward performances of Batman Samini, said to be Ghana's hottest hip-life artist has been a great worry for many fans, The Saturday Statesman has discovered.
The chap flopped terribly at the recent 'Decemba2Rememba show' held at the Accra International Conference Center during the Christmas festivities.
His 'archaic' free style show, undoubtedly, angered lots of music fans, forcing them to vacate the premise during his performance.
In an interview with The Saturday Statesman some fans expressed worry about Samini's current poor stage performances, especially with a live band. In their reactions, some of his enthusiastic fans whispered that they expected much from the MTN ambassador especially during this soccer season but he seemed to be falling and fading out due to what they refer to as over zealousness.
According to them, the likes of Tic Tac and Kwaw Kese have taken over and winning their heart in the hip-life industry.
'We prefer shows mounted by Kwaw Kese than Samini now because 'the Abodam man' is able to handle the crowd far better than the MTN ambassador and he is far better than him.
Samini must change his style or else people will stop attending his shows and this will lead to his eventual downfall.
Kwadwo Antwi also known as 'Shapee' told The Saturday Statesman "We think Samini is becoming rude now and he doesn't listen to advice, this is really bringing him down and we think he should be made aware of this".
