The UAE’s Awana Diab gave a new meaning to back kick when he scored a goal with his heel against Lebanon on Sunday.
Diab scored in 78th minute of the match when the UAE was awarded a penalty and he was given responsibility for the kick.
It all looked normal as he began his run-up, but the number 13 spun and backheeled the penalty on goal.
The visitors objected to it but the issue was sorted out swiftly.
