Ghanaian songstress Becca has disputed claims her new collaboration with Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage was her husband’s idea.
Becca said although her husband, Tobi Sanni Daniel, is Nigerian and hence has a connection with lots of artistes, she came up with the idea of featuring Tiwa Savage by herself.
Speaking on Joy FM's Cosmopolitan Mix she stated that, “I love Tiwa and when I finished with the song I was looking for a female artiste from outside of Ghana to feature on it. I realised that she is currently one of the biggest in Africa.”
She revealed that she finished recording some verses on the song but Tiwa Savage had requested to write her own part.
Becca said she was excited the ‘All Over’ singer was not only ready to collaborate but added her artistic touch to it.
The ‘No Away’ singer revealed she has a song with Ghana’s Efya which is yet to be released and has other released songs with several other female artistes from across Africa.
