Black stars defender John Boye has expressed joy after picking up the Man –of- the-match award in Ghana’s group opener against Bostwana at the African cup of nations tournament on Tuesday.
John Boye made a timely goal line clearance to deny Botswana an equalizer which could have changed the course of the game. The Rennes player is playing because of first choice Isaac Vorsah’s two match suspension.
He told Joy Sports that, he took advantage of the situation to establish himself in the team.
“I’m grateful to God and I hope to build upon this in the upcoming games”. Said Boye
