Entertainment-comedy show on Joy Prime, On A More Serious Note, has been adjudged the Best TV Comedy Programme of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Comedy Awards.
The show surpassed GhOne’s Half Serious Show and UTV’s The Real News.
The programme is hosted by KMJ and Amelley Djosu (Saminiwaa) and usually features comedian Eyiram, and blogger Kofi Xerda.
These panellists discuss interesting, entertaining, and trending issues in Ghana, making the show both comic and relaxing for viewers as it airs on Fridays.

Having marked its first anniversary in October 2024, this recognition is a great milestone for the team.
The show brings a mixed bag of entertainment and comedy to viewers, making their Fridays relaxing after a long week.
However, not everything said on the show is taken seriously, as they always issue a disclaimer before beginning.

They also reenact some trending stories related to politics, entertainment, lifestyle, and events by mimicking them live in the studio.
