The 2023/24 Ghana Premier League kicked over the weekend across seven centres, with Hearts of Oak suffering a day one defeat and refereeing drama in the Asante Kotoko game against Heart of Lions.
As has been the case in the last three seasons, the Joy Sports team has made their top four predictions for the season.
Medeama have been heavily backed to defend their title after lifting their maiden trophy the last season.
Gary Al-Smith, Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, Nathaniel Attoh, Muftawu Nabila Abdulai, Kwame Benaiah, and Haruna Mabarak all have their bets on the Yellow and Mauves to defend their title.
George Addo Jnr and Adamu Benin Abdul Karim tipped Hearts of Oak to win the title while Daniel Koranteng predicted Asante Kotoko will lift the trophy.
