The week will also witness the official launch of another brand in the Gokals distribution family, Cucciolobaby and mother care products (an original Italian brand). Moreover, fans of Converse will also have the opportunity to purchase online their favourite Converse footwear supplied by Shoebox, the official retailer of Converse in Ghana, at up to 20 percent discount during the Fashion Week.
Carolina Ricci, Head of Fashion at Jumia Ghana explaining the rationale behind the Fashion Week says “Jumia wants to bring visibility to the fashion offering available on its platform, and to communicate our cherished customers that they can count on Jumia for all their fashion needs”.“Jumia has set itself a goal to become the number one marketplace for all the needs of our customers and thus this year’s fashion week has an underlying goal to show to our clients and customers alike that we sell their favourite fashion and beauty products as part of the assortment of items we have on our platform” says Ore Odusanya, the Country Manager for Jumia Ghana.
According to Ore, “Jumia will continue to keep the interests of Ghanaians at the core of its operations by committing to provide quality products be it electronic, health and beauty or fashion, at very affordable prices.”
