A former board member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Agyapong says he is optimistic Ghana will beat Egypt in Tueday’s crucial World Cup qualifying play-off in Kumasi.
Mr. Agyapong however, has advised the Black Stars to expect a strong opposition from the Egyptians.
Mr. Agyapong, known in football circles as 'Capuccino' in an interview with Daily Graphic noted that, he is confident that the players will put in a fight of their lives to ensure a third successful World Cup appearance.
According to him, the players’ resolve to be part of football’s biggest global gathering in Brazil next year is the biggest assurance that, the Egyptians will fall at all cost.
“In my interactions with the key players, you would realize a burning desire to qualify for the World Cup. And even the senior ones who had been at the last two tournaments in Germany and South Africa believed their careers would not be fulfilled without going to Brazil,” said Mr. Agyapong, CEO of Kenpong Group of Companies.
