He stated that Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH), and the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) were some of the useful Korean international development programmes, which shared benefits could be extended to the area.
The meeting was at the instance of the MP to seek the support and partnership of the Korean government to promote the development of the area by exploring opportunities and programmes that could be supported under the various Korean development programmes.
It was also aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the constituency and the government of Korea to promote and enhance trade, socio- economic development, access to quality health care and modernized agriculture.
