Asante Kotoko overcame a spirited performance from relegation-threatened side, Bechem to win 4-3 in the Glo Premier League on Sunday.
The visitors drew first blood when hat-trick hero, Reginald Asante stunned the sparse Kotoko support at the Baba Yara Stadium after six minutes.
But six minutes later Ahmed Toure pulled Kotoko level before Augustine Okrah put the runaway champions in front in the 17th minute.
Toure put Kotoko in total control when after the break he made it 3-1 in the 59th minute.
However, Asante continued with his fine performance, scoring two quick goals in six minutes to level the scoring at 3-3.
The pressure had turned against Kotoko when Daniel Nii Adjei produced the match winner in the 83rd minute.
Bechem has two more games to try and avoid relegation.
