The streets of Kumasi have been taken over by zealous, spirited Ghana fans in absolute frenzy, hours to the big clash between Ghana and Egypt.
In a historic chapter in the support of the Black Stars, all the over 20 supporters union in Ghana have combined forces to support the Stars as a single entity as the Stars look forward to a successive third World Cup appearance.
Just around the precincts of the Kumasi stadium the supporters are already in jubilant mood singing dancing and cheering several hours before Ghana play Egypt in the World Cup playoffs against Egypt.
In the midst of the jubilant crowd is heavily armed security personnel gawking, shoving and trying to maintain law and order.
The stadium and its surrounding are awash with the golden Ghana colours with petty traders busy cashing in by selling the Black Stars and Ghana paraphernalia.
