Laryea Kingston has rubbished reports he will hang up his boots when his contract with Hearts of Oak expires.
The former Heart of Midlothian midfielder signed a one-and-a-half year contract with the former African champions in January.
Kingston put up an impressive display for Hearts in the second half of the season and helped the club to finish fourth.
Despite his heart-on-the-sleeves performances, some fans believe he is enjoying an Indian summer.
But the 31-year-old believes he has more football in him to retire.
“I have never spoken to anybody on my retirement so it baffles me why news of that sort should make rounds,” Kingston said.
“For now I know I am active and don’t know when I will call it quit. It is false and it didn’t come from me.”
Kingston has played for Lokomotiv Moscow and Vitesse Arnhem.
