Poland boss Franciszek Smuda has claimed that Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski is set to move to Manchester United this summer.
Lewandowski enjoyed a superb campaign in the Bundesliga last season helping them to the title and bagging 22 league goals in the process along the way. Should any such move come to fruition, he will follow former team-mate Shinji Kagawa to Old Trafford and Smuda believes it is a positive move for the player, while also commenting that fellow Polish stars Lukasz Piszczek and captain Jakub Blaszczykowski are destined to move to new clubs also.
"Lewy' is going to Manchester United, Kuba also somewhere in England, Piszczek to Real (Madrid)," Smuda told Reuters.
"They have a goal and they want to grow. I base the squad on them."
