Vice president John Mahama is on a tour of parts of the capital to inspect roads and drains.
John Mahama is traveling with other government officials including AMA Chief Executive Alfred Vanderpuije, Roads Minister Joe Gidisu and former Greater Accra Regional Minister Nii Armah Ashietey.
Mr Mahama says the purpose is to find out how prepared the city is for the rains and also inspect fallen billboards.
The vice president questioned the one way road system in parts of Accra, especially when the system is not being respected.
But the Mayor said the one way system will aid traffic flow and open up the road for use.
