A motor rider is in critical condition after colliding with a private car at Berekum, near the old Urban Council area in the Bono Region.
Eyewitnesses say both the motorcycle and the private car, with registration number GW 8291-24, were on their way from the Berekum township towards the Sunyani road when the crash occurred.

According to reports, the rider allegedly veered from the outer lane into the inner lane, colliding with the oncoming vehicle.
The impact left the rider with severe injuries. He was rushed to the Holy Family Catholic Hospital in Berekum, where he is receiving treatment.

Police have impounded the car and the bike to aid investigations into the cause of the accident.
