Mr Godfred Tango, Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa East in the Upper West Region, has appealed to the Ministry of Health (MOH) to provide the district with a hospital to improve health care in the area.

Mr Thompson Dumba, District Director of Health Services who received the equipment thanked the MP for his support over the years and assured him that he would ensure a fair distribution of the equipment to all the 17 functioning health facilities in the area.
He mentioned lack of electricity, staff accommodation and bad roads as some of the challenges affecting quality health delivery in the district.
He appealed to the MP to support the facilities with delivery beds to provide some comfort for women who come to deliver.
