You may know him for his wit and humour, a popular face in many local movies but Mr. Beautiful, known in real life as Clement Bonney has temporarily abandoned the cameras to join the campaign trail of ruling NDC’s President Mahama.
The talented actor has been touring the country with President Mahama as he seeks to be elected into the highest office of the land come December 7. Mr Beautiful told Joynews’ Seth Kwame Boateng that President Mahama is a fan of his and usually visits him to entertain him.
According to Clement Bonney, although he’s not a politician he believes President Mahama is the best man to lead Ghana into the promise land.
The comedian has mounted several political platforms to canvass votes for the President saying that a vote for Mahama, is a vote for a secured future.
The outspoken comedian maintained that his appearance on the NDC platform won’t affect his career in the showbiz industry. He stated that his duty while on the campaign trail is to entertain the President as well as the teeming supporters that will troop the numerous rally grounds.
Mr. Beautiful is currently with President Mahama on his 5-day campaign tour of the Western region.
