Sulley Muntari has labelled Ghana's Group D fixture against Zambia in the qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup as a 'tough game'.
The African qualifiers continues this weekend with 20 matches being played across the continent for a second successive weekend.
Saturday's match in Ndola marks the first meeting between both sides since the Chipolopolo beat the Black Stars in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations by winning the semi-final showdown and going on to win their first continental title.
While Ghana were thrashing Lesotho 7-0, the African champions were being beaten 2-0 by Sudan and the results on the opening day of qualifiers have set the stage for a big game at the new Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
And another defeat for Zambia would all but put their challenge at risk, eight days after it began.
However, Muntari, who knows the importance of Ghana building on their impressive opening display expects a stiff challenge.
“Against Zambia, it’s going to be a very tough game,” Muntari, who will captain the Black Stars said.
“We will try our best to do something important for Ghana and ourselves. We want to go in and get a good result.”
Memories of the painful semi-final defeat at the Africa Cup of Nations, according to Muntari will not dominate the minds of the players to exact revenge.
Rather, the desire for a win is what the players are pushing for.
“It’s not about revenge,” Muntari said as he recounted Ghana's 1-0 defeat four months ago.
“It’s about us getting a good result over there. Football is serious but not anything like that. We want a good result.”
