Hiplife musician, Wisa Greid, who is standing trial for allegedly showing his manhood while performing on stage, says the court case has not affected his career.
Wisa has been charged with indecent exposure and the case is currently in court.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Hitz News, the ‘Ekiki Mi’ singer disclosed that, his music career is intact despite the ongoing court case.
“The trial has not really affected my career that much, but the only thing is that some of the shows I had to play were cancelled.”
He added that that even though he has missed some events, he is still playing shows and releasing songs.
“I have a lot of songs that I am about to release very soon. Some are already out there, but maybe people have not heard them because we have not promoted them well.”
During the last hearing on February 12, the court revoked a bench warrant it issued on February 5 for the arrest of Wisa after the musician failed to appear before it.
The court, presided over by Abena Agyin Doku, was forced to adjourn to February 24 after the state failed to present evidence at Friday’s hearing because the investigator handling the case was absent.
The rapper, allegedly showed his manhood whilst performing at last year’s Decemba 2 Rememba concert organised by Accra-based Citi FM on December 24, 2015.
Midway through his performance on stage, the musician, while twisting his waist behind a dancer, allegedly pulled out his manhood and rubbed it behind the lady.
