Adebayor and his family’s brouhaha has been the hot topic during an interview with his family members on local radio station Thursday afternoon.
"Look, my brother, let me tell you something....My mum wants me dead!" he said.
The Sports show witnessed Adebeyor in a verbal exchanged with his family members.
The arguments went far to the extent that he revealed the financial efforts he has so far put in his family; monthly remittances and other unbudgeted expenditure.
"I sponsored my brother, Peter to abroad to ply a trade but things came to a standstill. Any effort I put in my family went to no avail. My family wants me to put £3 Million on the table. I do send my mum $2,000 dollars monthly but she always complain that it's not enough. I helped all my brothers including my sisters Margrete (Agnes) and Linda" Adebayor said
But upon all this, Ahebayor thinks his family squanders his hard earning income and furthermore plotting juju against his personality and career.
"Look, when I was playing in Real Madrid, my mum wrote letter to my management to sack me just after the death of my brother" he claimed.
His family however, wants him to keep remitting since they have no source of income. Abeiku Santana, a radio personality and the host of “Ekwan so dwoodwo” intervened in the issue to figure out how the family grumble could be solved amicably.
Adebayor calmly accepted Abeiku’s proposal and assured him of his 100% cooperation.
