Chief of Kwahu Asakraka in the Eastern Region, and Traditional caretaker of Okwahu United Football Club, Nana Somuah Mireku Nyampong III has promised to pay the seven thousand dollars Okwahu Utd owes Kofi Poku.
This amount will enable Kofi Poku to settle Emmanuel Obuobi who is in possession of the player registration cards of the Eastern Region football side.
The step taken by the chief is part of the moves intended to settle the dispute that has ensued between Okwahu Utd and her former General Manager, Kofi Poku.
The promise was made on Asempa fm’s sports morning show on Friday and it is expected that this refreshing move by the Nana Asakrakahene will get the club back on track as they prepare for the upcoming Division One League season.
