The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has put on hold elections in two constituencies.
Addressing journalists in Accra Thursday, the General Secretary of the NDC said polls in the two places will have to wait due to incomplete vetting processes at Chaina Paga and some challenges at the Nkwanta South constituencies.
Millions of delegates of the governing party will on November 21, 2015 elect MP aspirants and a flagbearer ahead of the 2016 elections.
“There is one constituency where we have not concluded the vetting process for which reason the elections are not going to happen in that constituency that is Chaina Paga constituency,” Mr. Asiedu Nketiah said.
The General Secretary added that there are some unresolved issues at the Nkwanta South Constituency and that is why elections will be put on hold in that constituency.
