The contenders for the maiden National Player Awards have been announced.
The awards ceremony which is being organized by Proton Sports Services in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association and the Retired Players Association of Ghana (RENFAG) is to honour old footballers and current generation of national team players for their contribution towards the development of the game.
The awards also compliment the Football Association’s idea of acknowledging and rewarding past national stars who are unfortunately facing difficult times.
All the awards will be presented at the ceremony which will be held at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra on 22nd June 2012.
