As a precursor to his engagements with the larger delegates comprising polling stations and electoral area coordinators, as part of his campaign in the New Patriotic Party flagbearer race, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has wrapped up his tours in some key regions.
The tour which commenced in the Ashanti Region on September 10, 2025, was used to rally support for his candidature and the need to be decorous as the only way through which unity can be enhanced after the primaries.
In the Eastern Region, the 2024 flagbearer of the NPP underscored his resolve to reclaim power for the New Patriotic Party in the 2028 elections and steer Ghana towards development. He also assured hardworking party members of getting the needed recognition when power is won in 2028.
In the Central Region, Dr. Bawumia received a massive support where he used the occasion to remind party members that 2028 can only be possible with a united purpose and shared vision.
In the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia highlighted and reminisced on his immense contributions to the New Patriotic Party over the years. He also use the opportunity to call for unity as the campaign heats up.
Dr. Bawumia’s engagements with constituency and regional executives in the above-mentioned regions also included former constituency officers and appointees.
The former Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP is about to tour the various constituencies across the country to rally support for his candidacy.
He is tipped to win the race as polls after polls show that he enjoys massive support amongst delegates and party members.
