Oman FM, the radio station whose airwaves were allegedly used to propagate inflammatory comments is suspecting foul play.
Workers and listeners say they are unable to tune into the station and on occasions when they did, it is not clear.
Owner of the Station and MP for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong is facing trial for treason and attempted genocide after declaring war on his station, Friday.
His outburst was in protest over what he said were unprovoked attacks on New Patriotic Party supporters in the ongoing biometric registration process.
He was arrested on Monday, charged with treason on Tuesday and sent to court on Wednesday, even though the court deferred to the Chief Justice.
Oman FM has since been chided for allowing its platform to be used to propagate inflammatory comments.
Allotey Jacobs, Central Region Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress on Tuesday, called on the NCA to close the station down.
A day later the workers and listeners say their transmission lines have been altered.
Fiifi Boafo the morning show host of the station, told Joy FM the situation is that bad.
According to him, several attempts by their technicians to solve the problem have proven futile, explaining the problem does not appear to emanate from within.
According to him, they have contacted the National Communications Authority which manages the spectrum and provides frequency for the station but nothing positive has come out of it.
He suspected strongly their spectrum may have been tampered with.
