One dead in accident on Nsawam-Adeiso road

The Nsawam Police have confirmed one person died in an accident on the Nsawam-Adeiso road, Sunday. Another passenger also sustained serious injuries and is said to be in a critical condition. Eastern Regional Commander of the Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (MTTU), DSP Samuel Ntosoh told Joy FM the injured passenger is receiving medical treatment at the Nsawam Government Hospital. The accident occurred when the driver of the taxi in which the two were travelling lost control and veered off the road, plunging into a stream. The driver of the Hyundai Excel taxi cab, 35-year-old Isaac Okyere died on the spot.
