The Ga West Municipal Hospital at Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region has recorded one death and 65 cases of Cholera.
The hospital in the past week confirmed two of 65 recorded cases to be cholera. Hospital authorities are still waiting for the outcome of tests on the other patients.

The 14 daily reported cases have compelled the hospital to treat patients in an uncompleted building since a six-beds make shift structure provided for the treatment of cholera was full.

Patient comes out of the make shift structure
In an interview with Madam Love Yaa Boadu, the Municipal Health Nurse, denied some patients were treated in uncompleted structure but checks by Myjoyonline.com revealed this was happening.
Myjoyonline also learnt that some patients were discharged before they were due to be discharged just to pave way for emergency cases to be admitted.
