Pedestrian right is always taken for granted in many cities across the country. Pedestrians have to compete with petty traders, motor cyclists for space. 

At Bogya Bi Yedom  near  Kokomlemle  in Accra, however, pedestrians now have to compete where a 'giant' advertising billboard which has taken almost half of the pedestrian walkway. Pedestrians have to bend or risk hitting their heads against the metalic billboard.
