A police officer in Tamale has been arrested for allegedly shooting his wife.
Corporal Mathew Appiah is alleged to have gone on the rampage after leaving his duty post at a bank.
Northern regional police public relations officer, Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh tells Joy News investigations so far show that corporal Appiah has not been in the best of terms with the wife, who is now in critical condition in hospital.
According to him Corporal Appiah suspects his wife of infidelity and that may have partly contributed to the incident.
The case is still under investigations.
