President John Dramani Mahama has sent hearty congratulations to his brother, President Allasane Dramane Ouattara of La Cote D’Ivoire on his re-election victory.
“I congratulate President Ouattara on his resounding and emphatic victory. The sovereign people of La Cote D’Ivoire have voted for continuity”, President Mahama said.
“The strong bond of solidarity and economic cooperation we continue to enjoy as two neighbouring countries is linked to the peace and stability of the sub-region. My congratulations also goes to the people of Cote D’Ivoire for a successful election. I will continue to work closely with President Ouattara”, he added.
