President John Dramani Mahama will on Thursday morning, leave for Kenya on a three day official visit.
While in the country, President Mahama will be a special guest at the country’s 51st Independence Anniversary Celebration on Friday, a statement from the Presidency said.
The three-day visit is at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta in his resolve to rekindle the fraternal bond and relations between his father Mzee Jomo Kemyatta and Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Both leaders are expected to discuss how both countries can influence a new agenda of increased trade among African countries.
While in Kenya, President Mahama will visit the Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Mousoleum and meet with the United Nations Staff.
The President will also meet and interact with the Ghanaian community in Kenya.
