Lifetime contribution to Nursing and Midwifery
The Hall of Fame recognition celebrates Prof. Dzomeku’s nearly three decades of transformative service in nursing leadership, maternal health advocacy and academic mentorship.
Her legacy includes leadership in maternal health through initiatives in respectful maternity care, digital triage systems and maternal referral pathways; academic excellence with more than 50 scholarly publications and leadership in multisite research funded by NIH and USAID; and mentorship and advocacy in midwifery curriculum reform, capacity building and global collaboration to elevate midwifery as both a scholarly and clinical discipline.
