Two of the world’s best-selling R&B artistes Mario and J Holiday, will be storming Ghana next month to stage a grand musical concert at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Courtesy 233 Connect, a fast-rising events company committed to raising standards in Ghana’s entertainment industry, Accra will on the 30th of July play host to the two US-based artistes.
On April 23 at the same venue, 233 Connect organised one of the country best musical concerts with American Hiphop star Fabolous.
Promising more, the organisers have named R&B superstar Mario, famous for his astounding showmanship and mastery of the genre, as the main headline act for the concert, while the sleek and suave J Holiday, will support him to deliver a spectacular night of pure excitement.
Both acts, 233 Connect said, will take to the stage of the Dome of the AICC with some of Ghana’s finest and Nigeria’s best.
Mario, 25, is known in real life as Mario Dewar Barrett. His 2002 hit song Just a Friend followed by Let me Love You in 2004, have earned him a place in the leagues of extraordinary R&B singers.
Till date, he has released four studio albums; Mario in 2002, Turning Point in 2004, Go in 2007 and DNA in 2009. In the early 2000’s he was ranked on Billboard’s (#98) Artist of the Decade list.
