Rev. Mrs. Rita Korankye-Ankrah, wife of Apostle Sam Korankye-Ankrah, General overseer of Royal House Chapel says she remains the only woman in the life of the man of God. This comes in response to reports that Apostle Sam Korankye is planning to marry a second wife. She was speaking in an interview with Maame Akua, Host of “Abrabo” on Asempa 94.7 FM on which she revealed she met her husband in the Volta Region (Anloga) when he came for evangelism at a time she was re-sitting an exams. Mama Rita as affectionately called, urged women to avoid roaming from one church to the other in search of miracles. This, according to her is because contrary to the perception that God works wonders only through pastors, anyone ready to walk in His light and with faith could also be empowered in that direction. “You can’t imagine how some self-acclaimed men of God take advantage of some desperate women and only sleep with them - all in the name of performing miracles”, she noted. She also urged young women to desist from indecent exposure as it doesn’t paint a good image about them. The 50 year old mother of four revealed, there is nothing that makes her happy in life than assisting the poor and needy and also puting smiles on the faces of people who initially walked to her office perplexed. Rev. Mrs. Rita Korankye-Ankorah however said she can not stand proud people. “Most people who have made it in life don’t actually brag about their achievements”, she said. The woman of God also heads the School of Restoration for ex-convicts and neglected persons in Ghana. According to her, she prefers to appear dressed in pink and orange because they make her look really good.
