Embattled Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested on kidnapping charges in Georgia Wednesday.
Officials at the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed to editors at TMZ.com that Ross was arrested in Fayette County and faces charges of kidnap, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross was detained along with another man at a property in the area. Reports suggest the unnamed suspect is the star's bodyguard and the charges allegedly stem from a row with workers at a property Ross recently purchased.
Both men are reportedly being held at Fayette County Jail as they await an initial court appearance and bond hearing.
The Hustlin' hitmaker, real name William Roberts, was previously arrested earlier this month on suspicion of misdemeanour possession of marijuana.
