Chocolate Factory, the informative relationship talk show has bounced back in a grand style giving viewers a fresher and more exciting experience after it took a 10-month break.
The show went on break, according to producers, to enable them revamp it. It's break also became necessary after the exit of the show's host, Victoria Hammah who is now Deputy Minister of Communications.
In her stead is the sexy and bubbly Marian Toure, who joined the Joy News team in May 2012.
Marian is a mix bag of wit, charisma, beauty and brains who brings a certain je ne sais quoi to the show. The new Chocolate Factory new season is in its fifth week, and has been airing unceasingly since Sunday, September 8.
Already, some of the topics which have been treated include: How to mend a broken heart, Dating and Courting right. The show has over the years maintained its goal of facilitating conversations around relationships and offering possible solutions where necessary.
Producers of the show promised: "It will also strive to educate viewers more on topics they might have minimal knowledge about and build confidence in their ability to openly discuss those issues classified as 'taboo' in the traditional Ghanaian Culture."
The show's resident relationship consultant, Cyril Lutherodt, is also always on hand to counsel guests and viewers on real-life issues.
Chocolate Factory is live on MultiTV's Premium African Entertainment Channel, Cine Afrik at 9:30pm.
Audiences are invited to participate live during the show via phone, SMS and the channel's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cineafrik.
