Hearts of Oak are set for a mass clear-out of underperforming players following a poor season.
The Phobians survived one of their worst outings in the First Capital Plus Premier League though managaed to place fourth via the help of three boadroom points awarded the club.
Fifteen players have been sanctioned by Hearts of Oak's technical team to exit the club with one-third of the number to go out on loan.
South African import Shaun Mason October, despite his quite impressive debut season at Hearts has been shown the exit with two years left on his contract. October had a bright start to the 2014/15 season under former coach Herbert Addo but later fizzled out as Isaac Oduro took over the left-back role.
Club top scorer this past season, Gilbert Fiamenyo will not have his contract renewed. The forward who scored 8 league goals has had his problems off the pitch restrict him from performing for Hearts in most parts of the second round of the FCPPL.
Another first-timer, Ivorian forward Arnaud Landry Bosson arrived with big reputation but did little to impress. He is joined by Kwame Kizito, Gerard Odupong Wellington and Hamza Mohammed to complete the list of forwards affected in the clear-out.
Completing the list of permanent exits are club General captain Kofi Abanga, Abraziz Abankwa, Ishmael Nortey and Hamza Fuseini.
Five players - Seidu Mutawakiku, Kinglsey Kissi and Tetteh Lugard (all goalkeepers), Emmanuel Laryea and Selassie Adjei have been listed for loan spells next season.
Hearts are determined to improve their squad significantly in order to be able to challenge on all fronts for the 2015/16 football season which could kick start as early as December.
The club is also looking to confirm the appointment of German-Turkish trainer Can Vanli who initially arrived as an attaché coach a couple of months ago.
