Easter is a season celebrated by Christians around the world to commemorate the death and resurrection of Christ.
The occasion is normally characterised by church activities and social gatherings.
In Ghana, Kwahu Easter Festival has now become the biggest social gathering to celebrate this festive season.
This festive occasion has become engraved on the country's annual entertainment calendar characterized by plenty of food to eat, music and dancing during the Easter festive occasion.
Ghana’s number one Radio station Adom 106.3 FM will stage a series of entertainment events as was done in the 2010 Kwahu Easter Festival.
This year’s event promises to be a memorable one as some renowned Ghanaian Hi- Life and Hip- Life artistes put on the bill, prepare feverishly for the show.
Ghanaian Hip-Life artiste Berima Sidney who has been billed for the Adom fm Akwaaba Bash at Kwahu has expressed his excitement to be part of this year’s Kwahu Easter Festival, to Adom entertainment News.
He said this is the first time climbing the mountains to perform in Kwahu since he started his music career in over 16 years.
He told Adom News that though he has been to Kwahu on a couple of occasions with his friends he has never performed in the area before.
He stated that he deems it a great privilege to be called upon to perform at the 2011 Adom fm Easter Kwahu Festival.
Berima Sidney is feverishly rehearsing ahead of the show to ensure that music enthusiasts who will climb the mountains to celebrate this year’s Kwahu Easter Festival will enjoy it to the max.
He assures his fans to troop to the mountainous city and witness a show of a life time.
