He said thorough investigations will be conducted into the matter.Public Relations officers for the Immigration and the Military institutions have been silent on the whereabouts of the two personnel.Francis Pamdeti of the Immigration Service in an interview with Joy News’ Dzifa Bampoh, condemned the reprisal attacks on the security men, counseling that it will not serve any useful purpose. He said his outfit is also conducting its own investigations into the matter to ensure that such an incident does not recur. He dismissed allegations of extortion levelled against the immigration personnel at the border posts and advised travellers to report such cases.Colonel M'bawine Atintande, Director of Public Relations of the Ghana Armed Forces said calm and normalcy have been restored, saying the incident was an isolated case and will not spill over.Story by Nathan Gadugah/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
