The GaDangme Council is appealing to elders of the Ga State to refrain from illegal acts and the use of inflammatory and highly inappropriate language.
The Council says the conduct is unbecoming of their status as traditional leaders.
A release signed by the President of the GaDangme Council, K.B, Asante, also described as unhelpful, recent developments within the Ga State regarding the legitimacy of the Ga Mantse and appealed to all claimants to the Ga Stool to abide by the rule of law and customary use and practice.
The release noted that the Council’s earlier moves to assist in the resolution of the burning issues by persuading all parties to conform to customary and traditional processes and procedures have proved futile.
It said nonetheless, the Council is awaiting the verdict of the judicial process of the Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs at Dodowa.
