Police at Suame in Kumasi are hiding details of how a young man arrested for posing as military personnel, died in their custody two weeks ago.
The deceased, Gabriel Tamakloe, was reportedly beaten upon his arrest at Breman Kwantwoma where he was picked up for the offence.
He was subsequently placed in the Suame Police Station cells.
But police sources said he was rushed to the Tafo Government Hospital in the middle of the night, after he was seen with a deep cut on his head.
Luv FM’s Erastus Asare-Donkor said autopsy reports from the hospital confirmed that Mr Tamakloe was beaten.
