The Sung Bie'la Foundation Ghana has provided five schools, in the Kusaug Traditional Area of the Upper East Region, with essential educational resources.
They include mathematical sets, textbooks, reading materials, writing supplies, and footballs to enhance the quality of education.
The recipient schools are Watania JHS, Manga JHS, Yakut Methodist JHS, Gentiga Basic School, and Bansi JHS.
Yakut Methodist JHS students received donations of mathematical sets, textbooks, and reading books, plus sanitary pads for girls in need. Gentiga JHS students, from primary to JHS levels, received educational materials and toys.

A total of 155 final-year students across the five schools received mathematical sets, pens and rulers to aid their preparation for the 2024 BECE exams.
The foundation's founder, Hajia Zenabu Awinbe Salifu, explained that the donation aims to supplement the government's efforts to promote equal access to education.
Drawing from her humble background, she emphasized the importance of supporting disadvantaged students, stating, "I've experienced similar challenges, and empowering these young minds to excel is the best way I can give back and inspire them to become better versions of themselves."
Madam Zenabu, having overcome numerous obstacles to achieve her current success, expressed her desire to give back to society by providing support to those who need it most.
She finds joy in seeing individuals overcome their challenges and achieve success.

Since 2015, her foundation has invested significantly in promoting inclusive and quality education in the Upper East Region, thanks to contributions from various donors and supporters.
She acknowledged the encouragement and backing of her husband, who is equally committed to seeing her succeed in her mission to make a positive impact and transform lives.
School headmasters who received and distributed donated items to beneficiary students expressed gratitude to Sung Bie'la Foundation Ghana.
According to Imoro Awudu, headmaster of Manga JHS, the foundation's contribution has significantly enhanced the quality of education in the school, showcasing the impact of collaboration and community support.
Mr. Awudu emphasized that the government cannot single-handedly meet the growing needs in education, and urged stakeholders to partner with the government to supplement its efforts.
He commended the foundation for its contributions and encouraged it to expand its reach to more schools, while also appealing to other organizations to follow suit and support the educational sector.
The students at Bansi JHS were equally grateful, with final-year student Ayariga Mariam expressing her enthusiasm and promising to make good use of the donated materials to achieve success.
Akologo Richard shared Mariam's excitement, noting that the timely intervention addressed the challenges they faced.
Headmaster Asamande Richard praised the foundation's consistent support, stating that the educational materials provided have greatly aided teachers in their research and lesson preparation, which was previously a struggle due to a lack of resources.
“It has helped the teachers in their research – because without those books they had it difficult in coming out with materials that are relevant,” he said.
